Century 21 Ryan Realty, Inc is proud to announce the new Bay County International Airport construction is ahead of schedule. Exciting news today is that the construction at the new Panama City-Bay County International Airport site in West Bay is three months ahead of schedule. The airport's relocation project manager, John Zebroski, and airport board Chairman, Joe Tannehill, held their meeting at the construction site on Tuesday.  According to an article in the local News Herald updating construction progress, the FAA unanimously approved acceptance of a $28.2 million FAA grant for the second phase of construction at the site. I read an interesting article today in regards to the TDC (Tourism Development Council) and spring break.Once again, the TDC appears to be marketing to spring breakers.  While others may not see the benefit to this tactic, I certainly do.Other tourist oriented cities market the spring breakers constantly.  During the spring break weeks, those cities (as Panama City Beach has in the past) experience significant increased revenue generated by the college students.  This is a win win situation for the local economy as well as the real estate market.Spring breakers eventually graduate from college, get jobs and want either to settle down somewhere or purchase a second home.  Many them, having fond memories of spring break in Panama City Beach Florida, choose to return and purchase their hom... 11/12/2007

I read an interesting article today in the news herald... Danny Grizzard, director of Florida Aquatic and Marine Inc. and Mike Gomez co-owner of the Panama City Dive and Ski Center both support the sinking of the decommissioned tug boat - Red Sea. The site is planned to be located about five miles off the St. Andrew Bay pass in 75 feet of water. Read the full article.
