Wall Springs Park is a 210 acre park that meanders around St Joseph's Sound and Boggy Bayou here in Palm Harbor Florida. The park was once used for bathing since there is a natural spring that connects out to the salt water of the Gulf of Mexico. When we come here for our morning walks, we spend time on the various fishing piers feeding the bait fish and identifying the various species. Today we saw 3 Snook (they are NOT in season nor will they be this year on the Gulf Coast due to the freeze three years ago that killed off so many of their population), large schools of Sheepshead, enough Mullet to open a roadside smoker, dozens of large Needlefish, several Redfish, a couple of large schools of Stingrays and assorted bait fish (Greenbacks, Pinfish, Grunts, baby Mullet, etc).
