Florida Home Prices Have Bottomed Out

Florida home prices have bottomed out was what I read this week from the Florida Association of Realtors. They were quoting facts from Florida Realtor's chief economist, John Tuccillo, that from January 2000 to November 2006 Florida home sales rose an amazing 152%! The time span from that peak to mid-2009 shows that prices fell 43%. While many will quote varying dates as the exact bottom of the market, one thing is for sure: The bottom came and went! We Realtors attempted telling everyone that the bottom was going to be gone before they jumped on board and there are those who have now begun to realize that we were correct.
