Florida home prices have bottomed out was what I read this week from the Florida Association of Realtors. They were quoting facts from Florida Realtor's chief  economist, John Tuccillo, that from January 2000 to November 2006 Florida home sales rose an amazing 152%! The time span from that peak to mid-2009 shows that prices fell 43%.  While many will quote varying dates as the exact bottom of the market, one thing is for sure: The bottom came and went!  We Realtors attempted telling everyone that the bottom was going to be gone before they jumped on board and there are those who have now begun to realize that we were correct. Chatterbox Family Restaurant is a great Palm Harbor Florida destination for breakfast. Located on the corner of Aldermann Road and Alternate 19, in the Key West Center, is a local favorite for breakfast and lunch. In addition to excellent food, the Chatterbox Family Restaurant also has reasonable prices, so you don't have to think twice about stopping in to enjoy a meal out. The Missing Link is Missing - It Was in Palm Harbor, FL Where Did It GoI loved this little store called The Missing Link in Palm Harbor, FL and took these photos about a year ago at Palm Harbor Days or some festival. Being down that way recently for some other reason, I decided to stop by and browse. And, to my horror, it was gone. I loved this place, it had all the funky, kitchy stuff that we all love to look at. It had an outdoor area for selling custom-made wood furniture,  and a pet bird you could talk to. Lots of jewelry, cute ladies hats and clothes, stained glass window hangers, in other words, it was perfect! I called the phone number for The Missing Link and asked about it. Blue Sink of Palm Harbor Florida was once a popular swimming hole. Those who grew up here remember being able to go swimming in Blue Sink back in the 1950's, 60's and 70's. The sink hole is 190' deep and the kids used to swim and dive down there. The majestic live oak trees at the water's edge provided a place to hang a swing and the limbs were great diving platforms!
