Former Valero gas station in Ormond By The Sea Florida being demolished   Valero gas station in Ormond By The Sea Former Valero gas station in Ormond By The Sea Florida being demolished The former Valero gas station in Ormond By The Sea Florida at the corner of Ocean Shore Blvd and Carol/Margaret roads is being demolished.  The canopy was removed early last year following many complaints about the unkept condition of the property.  Windows were boarded up at that time also.  The County code enforcement people were involved in getting unsafe conditions rectified.  The business has been closed for years.

Betty's A1A Cafe in Ormond By The Sea Florida   Betty's A1A Cafe in Ormond By The Sea Florida Betty's A1A Cafe in Ormond By The Sea Florida. We don't go out to eat much but when we have visitors............ anyway on Thursday, Sept 16, 2010 when 2 of my wife's sisters were in town with their husbands we went to Betty's A1A Cafe in Ormond By The Sea Florida.  The waitress volunteered to snap a photo of the group.  Everyone had something different and we were all very pleased with the service and the food.  An assortment of entrees was ordered and enjoyed including fried haddock, chicken tenders, seafood platter and chopped sirloin platter.  I would recomend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
