Donovan - Pet Therapy Dog  Last week I had the good fortune to meet Donovan, an incredible pet therapy dogat Bascom Palmer Eye Center in Miami. Donovan and his dad came walking past us.  At first I was surprised to see a dog in a hospital, when Donovan stopped by to say hello. We were  entranced with him the moment he came by. Donovan is a beautiful blue merle Australian Shepherd with a disability - he is deaf.  He has an easy going way about him and loves people.  And they love him. Donovan stopped while we petted and talked to him and his dad.  We found out Donovan had been rescued himself - maybe that's why he relates so well to others.  Donovan has an incredible ability to bring a smile and a calming feeling to those he meets.   He is a wonderful addition to the hospital and anywher...
