  How many areas have a boat-in McDonalds? Madeira Beach, Florida, does!   I thought I could get a decent photo while waiting in the drive-through line (sadly, I was in my car and not in our boat), but the wind dropped just as I pressed down, so that you can't recognize the McDonalds flag on the dock.     If you're out boating with a bunch of kids, they'll prefer this McDonalds to the numerous restaurants along the Intracoastal Waterway that might appeal more to adults. It is this time of the year again, the dates are all set, we will have our Christmas Boat parade here in Madeira a Beach Florida on Dec, 13th at 7 pm  The parade starts at our famous John's Pass Village and will go all the way to the canal north of City Hall. This might be a great place to watch it, right behind the library where the ball park is, or at  Tom Stuart Causeway Bridge. Madeira beach Florida direct water front condo, the Bellarte in Tampabay This 3 building complex is one of the newest in Madeira beach. Direct Gulf front, sit right on the sand and each condo has beautiful views onto the beach and sunset. I just learned that the Madeira Beach boat parade is set for Saturday, December 13th this year (2008).  For those of you who aren't aware of beach traditions, most of the waterfront communities in the Tampa Bay area have small but spectacular boat parades each year with boats big and smalled decked out with Christmas lights and decorations.  Parties are everywhere!  Just one more event making life in the Gulf Beaches area of Florida a constant great time!   09/08/2008

So many places to go, so much to do. If you visit Madeira beach, here in Florida, you have to go to Johns Pass.      Right now "Bubba Gump Shrimp" is THE place to go in Madeira beach. It opened mid July and since the first day this place is packed. The food is great, the service is very friendly and you can spend a fun night. It is in Johns Pass, right were the bridge is on top of the parking garage. If you like the more local taste, go to Waltz, an awesome very unique seafood restaurant at the east end of Johns Pass. I drive by the Sereno every day on my way to the office and every day, I am impressed by the Sereno. It is different, this condo complex on Madeira beach sits right on the Gulf of Mexico and all units have a beautiful water view. I get this question all the time.Let me be straight forward.NOT a good idea.As a Realtor I see it all the time, houses that are rented do not sell as fast as others and usually they go for less money.For some people renting out their home or condo is the only chance to make the monthly payment, but if you are serious about selling, think twice before renting it at the same time.I have not seen a renter that happily shows the house, and keeps it nice and clean for buyers. That is what every buyer wants, a great deal and it is very understandable.Well, the sellers want exactly the opposite, get the most money for heir property and make a nice profit, also very understandable. On both parts it is human nature I guess.As you can see, when you have two parties that want the exact opposite, it is difficult to find an agreement, it all comes down to motivation.How motivated is the seller, and or how motivated is the buyer. John's Pass Madeira beach John's Pass is getting ready for the season. Have you been to John's Pass lately? Big chances, major construction. But it is all coming together. Once it is finished it should be more of a tourist attraction than ever. Just a short note to remind everybody, we live in Paradise. If it is St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madeira etc It doesn't matter,go to the beach one of these days and enjoy incredible sunsets. Madeira beach is a little town in Pinellas County; it is right on the beach between Treasure Island and Redington. The one attraction we have is "John's Pass Village" very unique place with shops and restaurants and bars and fishing charters etc. you have to go and see for yourself. Other than that we have a few events during the year like the seafood festival or the pirate's invasion. Madeira beach is (according to T Shirts) a small little fishing town with a drinking problem. For most of the time it is quiet and not much going on.
