Tonight my wife, Ruth and I were the guests of our Grandaughter, Chris, at the CrabHouse in Jupiter. I Was struck by how few people were out on this cool, rainy Superbowl night.  The food was excelent as usual, but there were only about 10 or 15 other people and there were almost that many employees.  If you want to see what all the Crab House is about it is www.CraabHouseSeafood.com and they are all over the country. The rain tonight was more like an Alaska drizzle than a Florida thunder storm.  Just a steady mist with a few larger droplets.  We used to get days of that in Alaska.  You could go from the car to the house and not really get wet.  Here in Florida it usuall rains much harder than that.  Oh well, at least my lawn and shrubs got watered very well.Jim Jacobs   Jacobs@YourUlti... 02/04/2007

This weekend is the Annual Jupiter Kite Surfing Contest.  Kite surfers from all across the world have travelled to Jupiter Florida to participate in the event.I was not able to spend much time at the event yesterday:(  This afternoon was another story:) It was awesome watching these surfers spend the day out in the water.  It did not take long with so many surfers to realize one of the biggest potential problems is kite surfing in a crowd.   2006 is soon to be behind us at this point and now it is time to look at what we will be facing in 2007!With the market correction, I see a LOT of opportunity in both Palm Beach and Martin Counties.  Those people who have been procrastinating about making that purchase should be putting their procrastination aside and make that purchase THIS YEAR. WHY, we have a lot of inventory to choose from.  We have some really great prices.  Average price has slid $40 to $60,000 and in some areas even more.  Once we work off the excess inventory, we will see the market stabilize and when it does, it WILL stabilize at a higher price.   Not the crazy prices of 2005, but a more realistic price, but it still won't be as low as they are for the first 2 quarters of 2007. Get your checkbook out and get ... 12/26/2006
