About a year and half ago Brian and I decided to move to Indian Rocks Beach all the way from Palm Harbor (a major move of about 20 miles...:) While the distance is not that far, the change in our lifestyle has been incredible! We live in a small single family home on the intercoastall, looking out over the water each night while wondering at how great it is to have a vacation every day! The move WAS initially a little trying as we still had A LOT of business in the Palm Harbor market and spent a lot of time traveling back and forth to service our clients. Luckily we found some great Realtors who we could refer new business to in Upper Pinellas and Pasco and now just do work for valued clients "all the way up there". Now we are in the Largo Keller Williams office and serve the Beaches (B...

I do get excited each and every year arou d this time.  Big love for the holidays and especially cruising down to the Gulf bcoast beaches of Pinellas County Florida to see the locals bring out their own personal displays.   I did notice that the displays were a little smaller this year, but as the economy slows we all know where our money is best spent.  For most of us it is not exploding in the air and raining sulfur smells to the crowds below.  We still ooh'ed and ahhh'ed but we certainly lacked the sheer volume of fireworks displays that we usually see.  (Of course there had to be some bozo with a few road flares and signal smoke that he felt made him look like the Statue of Liberty, but hey, at least he wasn't driving somewhere. :)   Did anyone else see a smaller display this year i...

About Indian Rocks Beach FloridaIndian Rocks Beach is located on a barrier island of the Gulf of Mexico. It is about 30 minutes from the Tampa International Airport so it's easy to get to from one of 2 bridges that link it to the City of Largo.  There are approximately 4000 permanent residents and hosts another 1200+ winter residents. It celebrated 50 years in 2006. Even though the city turned 50- it has managed to hold on to it's small town charm making it a popular beach community for locals looking to buy an Indian Rocks Beach home or waterfront condo as their primary residence.Unlike many tourist towns - Indian Rocks Beach brags of having it's one ball field, art center, library and much more so it is a great city for locals, seasonal residents and vacationers alike.    Indian Rocks...
