In case you haven’t been in Lee county since April 2008 you might be surprised by all the road projects. It may be a hassle when you visit SW FL this winter season but it's all in an effort to offer less congestion on the roads. Estero FL currently has the Three Oaks Pkwy expansion from 2 lane to 4 which should be completed by the end of November 2008. Also Three Oaks Pkwy is now connected all the way to Livingston Rd, which means you can travel from Alico road all the way to Golden Gate Pkwy in Naples FL without using Interstate 75 or US 41 (Tamiami Trail).
