Daytona Condos in 2018There are 543 condos for sale in Daytona Beach Area, which includes Daytona Beach, Daytona Beach Shores, Ormond Beach, Ponce Inlet, South Daytona, Holly Hill, and Port Orange.This is the peak of the slow season, so no wonder prices start from $45K (3 condos for less than $45K), and all the way to $1,299,000.In the preceding 12 months, 1,122 condos were sold in Daytona Beach area. Prices started from $38,000 (only one for under $40K), 6 units were sold for less than $50K.It is nearly the same as in 2017 (1,113), and close to what was sold in 2016 – 1,073.Daytona Beach’s share of sale in 2018 was 307 condos. 306 condos were sold in Daytona Beach Shores. 210 in Ormond Beach, 138 in Ponce Inlet…Are we in a stagnant market? The Plaza Resort & SpaGot a phone call from a New Yorker. She read my old blog from 2008 about The Plaza Resort & Spa. Wow, that’s a very old one.But The Plaza is still standing, and, funny enough, the units in this condo-hotel are unbelievably affordable. Yes, they are not as they were at the lowest point, but, honestly, they are again very close to the lowest point. Below is the table showing you resales of units in the resort since they have converted it to a condo-hotel in 2005-2006. This is the reason there were so few resales in 2005-2007.
