The Parade of Lights   Come out Saturday November 24,2012 to kick off the second annual Parade of Lights. The show starts at 5:15 p.m. beginning on Main Street at the corner of Peninsula Drive and travels east over A1A, Then north onto Ocean Avenue looping back down A1A down Auditorium Blvd., Concluding at the Peabody Auditorium. The parade features cars from the Turkey Run classic automobile event, local businesses and more.   The parade ends as the Ocean Centers Light up Volusia Nights ceremony begins at 7:15 p.m. They will be unveilaning beautiful lights and christmas decorations at the Daytona Beach Hilton, Ocean Walk Shoppes, and the historic oceanfront Bandshell which is open for ice skating. Ice Skating on the World’s most famous beach Ice skating on the beach in Daytona Beach, Florida. Right in behind the historic Bandshell on the beach, a 4800 square foot ice skating rink is set up under a 88 by 86- foot tent to protect you from the weather. The rink will open Now to January 6. Hours will be 4-9 p.m.  Monday through Thursday, 4-10 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. The ice skating rink will be open for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years day.  Have you ever tried Ice skating while watching the waves roll onto the beach?
