The numbers tell the story: in the first quarter 2022, there were fewer than 100 properties that changed hands or sold. This low number of sales (25% lower than the year ago level) is a result of fewer listings. Chart also shows that homes are selling very quickly (new listings of 90 vs new pending sales of 72), despite increasing mortgage loan interest rates. The super hot housing demand vs low inventory resulted in the higher median sale price & quick sales.
