Walking on your hands around the ring of fire?  Really?  This kid does stuff like this all the time. This photo was taken at the Hyatt Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, Florida.  I was participating in the Leadership Bonita Weekend Retreat so it was a perfect opportunity to get a double room and invite the family who made the best of the resort while I got my leadership on.  If you get to SWFL you should definitely consider a stay at Hyatt Coconut Point unless you're lucky enough to attend a conference, wedding or staycation somewhere along the line.

In fact, most homeowners may not even consider the costs of selling a home in Bonita Springs when they decide to make the move.   If you are trying to determine whether or not selling your home is a wise financial move, here are a fe...

The First Annual Bonita Springs Film Festival So, I was sort of asked to participate and video is not my thing so one of the festival directors told me to take my high resolution shots and make a video of them in order to submit an entry.  I'm not an editor but I tried my best and participated and the rest, as they say, is history.  For any of you who are looking for free music, there are credits at the end of a musician who provides free download for public use with proper credit.  Thanks for watching! I also donated the high resolution photos of the shrooms to Bonita Nature Place for marketing use in the future.

Bonita Springs is a lovely southern Florida beach town located on the Gulf of Mexico. The modest sized town is a suburb of Cape Coral, offering easy access to all the amenities of the city, without the overcrowding or hustle found in urban environments. This makes Bonita Springs an ideal location for purchasing a beach house or retirement home. In fact, these two uses are the primary uses of Bonita Springs real estate.   Given the primary uses of these houses, it should come as no surprise that the homes in this area tend towards the luxurious. They are well built, often designed to support an entire family or guests, and generally have beach friendly facilities like outdoor showers and sand rooms. The population is primarily composed of individuals over 65, but also has a large number...

Before calling in a realtor, you might want to review how to prepare a home for sale in Bonita Springs. These tips aren’t about the realtor and her role; however, they are about you having the right mindset about your home sale in Bonita Springs, Florida.   To begin with, are you positive you are ready to part with your home and move on? Resistance to moving on is sometimes seen when a person has an unrealistic view of the home’s worth. Nostalgic memories of happy days spent in the home, as well as over-valuing the upgrades they’ve made over the years can cause a homeowner to see their home through rose-colored glasses.   Another sign of resistance to moving on is when a homeowner refuses to neutralize the home prior to showings. Sometimes they argue that they don’t want to change thing...

Putting a house on the market in Bonita Springs, Florida is not a simple task.  There are many considerations to make before actual contact is made with a realtor or advertisements are placed.  Aside from the major, obvious repairs needed to sell a home, it is important to pay attention to the little things as well.  To a homebuyer, the little things matter.  Preparing a home for sale is the hardest part of the entire process, paying off when the final closing is complete.   1. Clean From Top to Bottom One of the most important things to do when preparing a house for sale in Bonita Springs is to clean it thoroughly from top to bottom.  This includes the interior and exterior.  If the budget allows, it may even be beneficial to hire a professional cleaning crew to do the detail work. To find out more about how The Kris Asquith Paradise Realty Team can help you get a fair price for your home, contact them at 239-300-1427 or visit www.MoveWithKris.com.   The housing market is a tricky balance between sellers and buyers. Most home owners hope to, at least, break even with the sale of their home, and some want to make a slight profit on their investment. Buyers, on the other hand, are trying to find a home that fits both their budget and the standards for their dream home.   As a home owner, it is in your best interest to price your home fairly. While you might sell your home if you list it significantly above market value, potential buyers will more than likely look elsewhere. There is a golden number that will leave you feeling good about the sale and the buyer feeli...

For about 15 years I’ve sold real estate in Bonita Springs Florida.  I’ve seen a lot of buyers and sellers come and go and there is one solid way to separate real estate buyers from time gobbling, tire kickers, the dreaded “Call us if anything comes up …”.  There isn’t a real estate agent in town who hasn’t heard that from a real estate buyer getting out of their car and knowing they’d never see or hear from that person again.
