First Time Home Buyers Seminar Done Right This afternoon the girls from Coldwell Banker Pino Agency's Pennsville office took a field trip to Middletown, DE to meet up with John R. After three years of construction, the barriers were moved yesterday at the northern portion of Choptank Road, signaling an end to a major road reconstruction project. Delaware Department of Transportation officials believe the project will “set the standard for roundabouts in the state.” The $11.3-million, 4.9-mile project was a complete redesign and reconstruction of the full miles of Choptank Road, which is now open to traffic, DelDOT officials said. The general contractor was Greggo and Ferrara, based in New Castle County. The road was too narrow, had no shoulders, and was crumbling – making it unsafe for the volume of traffic on the road. The State of Delaware Sues Builder Ryan Homes alleging that it never built the tennis courts, swimming pool and clubhouse and forced homeowners to pay $1,200 a year in fees at its Odessa National Golf Community. The News Journal reports the suit was filed last week in Superior Court and alleges 39 consumer fraud offenses including deceptive sales practices.  The attorney Generals offices says the investigation has been going on for 2 years spurred by homeowner complaints and seeks punitive damages plus $500,000 or more in reimbursements and penalties.
