A BBQ Challenge that gets no Publicity but draws Hundreds to taste the food Peterson Field in Wolcott CT had an aroma coming out that drew the attention of a lot of neighbors. By 7 AM, the activity field had at least a half dozen tents erected and the cookers and smokers were being fired up for the day's cooking. It's an event that started with a friendly neighborhood challenge as to who was the best at ribs. A date was set for mid September for the cook off and friends were invited to be the judges.
