Wilton CT 06897 2011 By the Month Market Report of Real Estate Sales I thought this was a fun chart to share with you.   As we all go through the years, we know the pattern of the ebb and flow of sales, but it is still fun to see it clearly.  Wilton's last few months of the year were affected by the huge storms we had pass through.   In the end of August, we had Hurricane Irene bring down trees and limbs everywhere.   Many were without power for over a week.  Then, to add insult to injury, we had a huge wet heavy snowstorm of 2 feet in depth which also brought down trees and limbs with the high winds - s we had more power outages for another week.  The closings for November and December were definitely affected by these storms.  01/15/2012

December's Season of Celebrations & Sharing - Boy Scouts Selling Christmas Wreaths in Wilton CT 06897! Every Thanksgiving, the local Boy Scouts here in Wilton CT begin selling their wreaths.    We find them everywhere - the Village Market, Orem's Diner, the Wilton Y, and so many in town have come to save their buying of wreaths for this fundraising by the scouts.    We have always bought at least 5 wreaths from the scouts, and will always support them and their efforts.   Our son was a scout years ago here in Wilton, and still lives by their code.  Through your generosity, the Scouts will be able to purchase new tents, cooking gear and attend specialized leadership training opportunities.   They will also send boys to Scout Summer Camp who otherwise might not be able to cover the cost. 12/21/2011

Wilton CT Tri- State Meet- up With Record Numbers Again! Favorite Part of the Fall! Are you sad to see the colors change?    Do you still rake your own leaves?   Do you have in your yard a favorite tree or shrub that waits until all others have finished their show before it comes out in full dress?   I have a favorite Koosa Dogwood tree tha t does just that.  You think it's a dull year, all of the trees are barren, and then - voila!    Gorgeous!!!  We have this color in Wilton CT today! 11/11/2011
