Friday Flags in Waterbury CTFor those that care, there is nothing as uplifting as seeing our flag fluttering in a breeze. As the wind swirls, the flag will wave as if the breeze is just there to appreciate the view.Such was the case this past weekend as the winds were strong   in our area. I happened to pass the East Mountain golf course in Waterbury, CT and the tall pole with the flag waving was hard to miss.Many a day as a kid, we would come down the 18th fairway and that flag would stand tall over the clubhouse.As one of the oldest public courses in this area of the state, the East Mountain course still offers a challenge, and for me, I don't remember those holes being so long.Friday Flags in Waterbury CT  06/10/2022
