German Bierfest Hartford Saengerbun Clubhouse 719 North Mountain Road Newington, CT I just heard about this last night from a friend, and the good news is that it is going on again today. A German Bierfest will be held from 4 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Hartford Saengerbund Clubhouse, 719 North Mountain Road, Newington. Admission is $8.00; and there is free parking. The menu includes bratwurst, knockwurst, leberkaese, sauerkraut, homemade potato pancakes.  The desserts are also homemade, to include German pastries and cakes. Have you had any German beer latesly?  Now is your chance to try Gemuetlichkeit. There is also entertainment which will be provided by a live 14-piece brass band from Germany.
