Everyone wants to know how the real estate market is doing. If you watch the nightly news you might think that homes sell for half of what they did two years ago, that half of all homes are on the market and no one is buying them. Well, that is not the case. We have been fairly fortunate in Connecticut since our real estate market has come down in price much less than other areas, and the inventory levels are not as high as other areas. Here in Guilford there are currently 197 single family homes on the market. That is up slightly than in years past, but not a huge increase. My Miami Marathon adventure started off on the wrong foot and never really eased into the right pace. While in Florida they experienced the coldest weather they'd had in years and freeze warning were posted most nights. At the end of the week when I was hoping for cool weather the heat came in so the warmest temperatures we encountered was on marathon day.Since we had so much snow in Connecticut I didn’t put as many miles as planned on my new marathon shoes. I purchased two identical pairs of Kayano 14’s and used one during training but only had about 25 miles on my racing pair.
