Danbury, CT is a very interesting place when it comes to real estate. In the past, I have had clients request to only tour homes serviced with public water and public sewer.  Even with their fairly good sized budget, it severally limited the number of homes available that we could look at. It is very much like the old-west out here in Danbury,CT. Year to date, closed prices are up 18% for single families in Danbury over the same time last year. (2020) Pricing for the townhomes have increased about 6% as well over the same time period. There's been a change of the number of properties sold in the time period as well, about 20% more condos where sold due to increased development at the Rivington Woodlands community and 6% fewer less single family homes.  Across the board, inventory level is very low.
