I recently worked with a very nice couple that is going to be moving to the Denver suburbs from out of state.  They had three children and although they are very young right now, they plan on staying here for quite some time so they had a lot of questions about the schools in the Denver area.  The communities that they were considering were all in the south Denver suburbs - all in Douglas County - they were Highlands Ranch, Castle Pines and Lone Tree.   They had heard and read a little about the Douglas County Schools - they already knew that it was rated in many different facets as an excellent school district, but they were still a bit confused about the Track System.    I directed them to several blog posts I have written in the past about the Track School System schedule for Douglas...

Working with home buyers and home sellers in Parker Colorado real estate is my passion. Lately I've spotted a new trend and it needs to be talked about. Home inspections in Parker Colorado occur every day. Why are buyers killing real estate transactions for no real reason is the question. It doesn't get to me now like it did 24 months ago but I've noticed a weird trend with buyers that I haven't seen before. Buyers are bailing out of contracts completely during the inspection. I'm not talking inspection items that are hazards or structural but everyday items like leaky faucets, carpet stretching and even GFCIs missing or broken. I've posted before about the buzz going around about Lifetime Fitness here in Parker CO. Everyone is talking about and just about everyone in town is there on any given day. The place is packed. It took us 20 minutes today just to make it to the room were were supposed to be in just because we ran into so many friends, neighbors and even my boss.   We took our 3 year old son to a birthday party there for a fellow classmate. It was our first experience actually inside the giant fat burning building and we loved it. The place really does have something for absolutely everyone. The kids loved it. I just found this article which I believe to be another global warming alert. The guy basically says cutting out the unnecessary screensavers will save massive amounts of energy around the world. It also says LCD monitors don't burn in and that only old tube monitors from the 90s need to have screensavers. I'm pretty sure LCD monitors do get burn in don't they? Maybe I'm wrong. At least a little burn in? NO more screensavers   I can't remember the last time I saw an actual screen saver in my office. Isn't this a thing of the past? I have seen rotating family photos so I guess that would qualify as a screensaver. I'd rather see family and friends flying across my screen than the old bubbles, fish or flying objects.     Technorati Profile

Stonegate is a great place to live in Parker. After a long weekend at the Parker Days Festival we decided to spend the afternoon at one of the two pool areas here in our neighborhood. Stonegate is centrally located in Parker Colorado and offers great real estate and homes for sale. The common areas are large and well maintained and with two different pool areas there is something for everyone. We also have large well lighted tennis courts and too many playgrounds to count so if one is full you can always find your own private playground area.           Pool # 1. Beautiful Parker Colorado Real Estate My client Kelly P. and I took a ride on the 2-3 year old Hidden Mesa Open Space Trail just south of Parker, Co this morning June 14th, 2008. This is just what Parker, Castle Rock and Franktown have needed for years. Open to bikes, hikes and horses it's worth your time and effort to climb to the top. The views are awesome and this morning with the clear blue sky we could see beyond Pikes Peak to the south and all the way to Wyoming to the north. Parker will have a new Brunswick Zone Bowling and game facility soon. They are supposed to start building this soon. It will be located just in front of the Twenty Mile Stadium Theater just off Mainstreet in Parker, CO. This real estate project will benefit home owners and all Parker residence with more activities for kids. Why is this a good thing for the Parker kids? I've never experienced it but have been told by many moms that when they go to pick up kids after a moive the manager does not let the kids hang out in the lobby and wait for parents. It isn't that big of a deal for Summer but in the Winter it can get really cold. Real Estate Market Reports for March 2008 - PARKER, ELIZABETH, FRANKTOWN, KIOWA   Real estate in this part of the Denver metro area is a bit slower than others, but there is still activity - at 498 new listings this month (single family homes) and 211 homes under contract - you can see that there still is plenty of inventory.  Pricing your Parker, Elizabeth, Franktown and Kiowa home properly is critical.   In addition, you can see that the average sold price is much lower than the average asking price.  As in other areas of the Denver metro real estate market,  the lower price points are seeing swifter movement.  The higher priced homes are taking a bit longer in these Denver suburbs and pricing is absolutely key.    Douglas County & Elbert Colorado - STATISTICS FOR HOME SALES IN THE AR...
