We did choose the $25 all day pass as I didn't want to go back and buy tickets all afternoon.I was a little disappointed with the rain and lightening each afternoon but it really didn't start until just about the time we were ready to leave. I haven't seen it this crowed in years. There were by far more people here this year than last. Maybe because fewer people are traveling because for the economy? Just guessing. If you live in Stonegate or plan on buying a home for sale in Stonegate you better know the watering restrictions. Yep we still have watering restrictions even though we haven't had a drought in several years. No worries, I think everyone is fine with it and I truly do believe that we need them since my yard looks great and I don't water half as much as I probably could. No watering before April 15th or after October 15th, 2009. Even addresses [ending in 0, 2,4,6,8,] can water on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. Odd numbered address [1,3,5,7,9] can water on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. NO Watering on Wednesdays. Watering is allowed between the hours of 7PM and 8AM only on your designated watering days. That's how it's been for over 15 years. We all know the drill. Your family members gather all their items they no longer need and mom and dad arrange the items on tables for sale at DEEP DISCOUNTS. It just gets my blood boiling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I should be used to it by now because I can't say things have really ever changed.  Not that I'm perfect, but I do put forth a solid effort at least.  Obviously some Realtors have a higher standard than others, and maybe that's O.K. There just ought to be a law against lazy, ignorant Realtors!  We are supposed to police each other, but that really only applies if you break a rule.  At least nobody can come to me complaining about a lack of information listed in Metrolist.  Why is there not a rule against weak listings in the MLS? I constantly run across listings with little to no information about the property.  Especially lazy are Realtors that list bank owned homes or short sales, so maybe that is why it seems so bad now.  And it'...

Yep, I know this isn't real estate related but who cares because it's funny. When you need a few days to get away with the kids (like spring break) hanging in Parker, Colorado isn't always the most fun places to be. Especially if it's snowing buckets of snow and the ski slopes are calling. My problem was what to do with my 4 year old while he was on Spring Break last week. It just so happens another friend of ours was having the same problem. So we put our heads together and decided with all the snow the slopes were calling our names. After 5 minutes on Hotels.com and one fast phone call we had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo right in the middle of Breckenridge for $225 per night. Not bad for just over $100 per night per family.
