Saturday's Shots: Ho Ho Ho!     Our "Santa Season" officially started last night with the Mayor's Tree Lighting. Rich (aka Santa) and our friend, Kam (aka Mrs. Claus) road to O'Brien Park in a horse drawn carriage. It was lovely! Then they came back to the Parker Arts, Culture and Events (PACE) Center in Downtown Parker where they greeted kiddos from 6:30-8:00 pm. Last night I was an elf, directing parent/kiddo traffic to visit with Santa, and I gave out candy canes and small gifts from Santa. I was lucky enough to get a photo with the jolly man in his red suit! Tonight we'll be back at it, but I'll be Mrs. Claus this time.                   Working in Parker property management we have maintenance issues almost year round.  For some reason they seem to stop around Thanksgiving and Christmas, but are every day during the remaining ten months.  As part of the referral series on vendors we do business with we would like to put a spotlight on Robert Schmidt of Just Call Robert Handyman Service.  Robert did over 200 work orders for Blue Olive Properties in 2014.  It’s safe to say we’ve referred him plenty of business.  Robert in return does good work for us.  He can do everything from snaking a drain to removing an old play set in the backyard, and everything in between.  It helps that he has a good attitude and can be an entertaining presence in the house when he’s there fixing things.                  A good...
