Downtown Grand Junction's Main Street will be rumbling with the sound of car engines from vintage cars and "muscle cars".  The big car show is scheduled for Saturday, September 18th, 2021 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, and this car show always draws a big crowd. Strolling Downtown Grand Junction is a favorite for locals and tourist alike.  But, on the first Friday of every month (year-round) it is an extra special night.  It's a great way to experience the wide variety of artistic talent in town.  The many art venues and galleries throughout Grand Junction are open late on the first Friday of each month.  Many people will come early, get a parking spot and have dinner before visiting the galleries around 6 pm.  Several of the galleries offer drinks and appetizers with live music.  This particular evening, the beautiful fall colors of Downtown Grand Junction are vibrant.   Enjoy!
