My favorite thing about Spring is Simple..The Smell of a Sweaty Horse. I love the smell of a sweaty horse in the Spring. I love grooming them and having buckets full of hair come out as they shed. I love hearing their groan of satisfaction accompanied by a softness of their eyes as I massage their skin with a rubber brush.   I love the first Spring bath on a warm day, watching months of dirt wash off them. I love their Spring frolicking when they kick up their heels at the warmer weather. I love the green shoots of grass coming up in the pasture that they eagerly nose around for, starved for fresh munchies. I love the fact that they finally get to be in my "backyard", a first for me.
