You Don’t Always Need an Office to Conduct a Closing I recently listed a home for a friend of mine and the home is located in Black Hawk, Colorado which is about 55 miles west of my house. The buyers work and live in Black Hawk so when it came time to coordinate the closing, they wanted it up there. My seller was OK with that because he has moved to Nevada but flew out for the closing and a mini-vacation. My title company had no facilities in that part of the world, so we had to order a traveling notary. Black Hawk is a gambling town which used to be a gold mining town and it has lots of casinos.
