Once again this year, there has been a drought declared, and the City of Aurora is calling for two days a week of watering effective May 1st, 2023. Although the mountains have had an excessive amount of snow, that does not always equate to enough water for the City's use.    The snow needs to continue, and the City of Denver hasn't seen much in the last few weeks. Per the City of Aurora - "Due to the intensity of the worst drought the arid west has seen in 1200 years, our reservoirs will soon be below 50% full.   Getting them back to a sustainable level will take some time and some very wet winters.  It may be challenging, but everyone can do their part to reduce their water use, starting with a two-day-a-week watering restriction based on your address." I am definitely ready for spring... 03/31/2023

  Tollgate Crossing is a beautiful neighborhood of homes that was started by DR Horton that is conveniently located 30 minutes outside of Downtown Denver and is an easy commute to DIA.   You will also now find Oakwood Homes & Antero Homes building in Tollgate Crossing.   There are now some townhomes in the neighborhood also.  With many pocket parks throughout the neighborhood, it's not uncommon to see neighborhood families with kids playing and enjoying the Colorado weather.  Living in Tollgate Crossing you have retail outlets at Southlands Mall, and retail and hospitals close but don't have the traffic you would expect in Denver.   Homes in this neighborhood were built from 2004 to 2019.   This neighborhood is located in the Cherry Creek School District.    You will find this neighborh... 03/31/2023
