Trinity Center is located in the Trinity Alps. The Trinity Alps might be described as the diamond in Northern California's golden ring of mountain ranges. The visually striking jutted facets of the Alps are easy to spot from the Sacramento Valley floor or by air. The Trinity National Wilderness, while over 500,000 acres in size, is far less traveled than California's similar national parks. Fishing opportunities include the Trinity River's King Salmon and Steelhead and the regions lakes are stocked with several species trout. Sportsmen will find deer, bear and pigeon hunting are just some of the recreational opportunities that await Trinity residents or visitors. The aerial photo does not reflect the fact that Trinity Lake is full due to last years abundant rains. Trinity Center Airpor...

Spring in nearly in full bloom in Trinity County and we have an abundance of homes available for sale.  According to James R. Hagerty of the Wall Street Journal, "The number of homes listed for sale in many U.S. cities continued to fall in April in what some analysts see as a sign that the market may be nearing a bottom. But the picture is clouded by uncertainty over how many foreclosed properties will hit the market." Our prices are very competitive with other areas of California.  For a complete list of homes, land, commercial and business opportunities visit my web site at trinity-realestate.com

Winter has finally arrived!  Snow covered mountains and beautiful breathtaking views!  What a wonderful place to live or have a vacation home.  Prices are reasonable for all types of real estate right now. The annual Weaverville Joss House Lion Dancers will be "exercising" the Lions on Saturday, February 14th along Main Street.  It's quite entertaining and sometimes has quite a crowd following them along  the way.  A celebration at the Joss House is held prior to the Lion Dance, so make a date to attend this year or sometime in the future. Weaverville's Snyder Highland Art Center sponsers an "Art Cruise" in Old Town Weaverville.  The art center and many of the local businesses are open to the pubic.  Art is displayed and refreshments are served for the public. Make a day trip or an over...

The economy is drivin by supply and demand.  Trinity County has a limited supply of private ownership, 80% of our county is owned by the government, another 10% owned by corporation (timber/reserves) thereby leaving approx 10% for privately held properties.  With the stock market in termoil I see people taking their funds and investing in Real Estate.  I recall this rollercoaster in the market in the 1990's, history repeats itself!

Living in the Central Valley of California, and working primarily in Modesto, the majority of the homes that are for sale are either foreclosures or short sales. Every one in real estate understands what a short sale is, but many consumers are confusing bank owned homes with short sales. A bank owned home is one that the bank has taken back from the owner.  It has generally gone through the entire foreclosure process or has been given back to the bank through a deed-in-lieu of foreclosure (where the owner gives back the title to stop a foreclosure). The bank usually will have a short turn-around time for approval on selling the property.A short sale on the other hand is when the bank accepts a payoff amount for less than the amount that is owed on the property.  For example, a bank that...

My husband and I decided to take a weekend off and take a quick trip to Las Vegas to show our exchange student the lights.  We did not even leave until Saturday at 11:00 am.  By 3:00 pm I had 3 buyers that I have been working with all of a sudden decide they wanted to see homes!Needless to say - I was not about to turn the call around just to show a few homes - but why does it seem that the minute you are not available you become in demand??Special moments with my family are very important to me.  Making money is great - but if you are always busy working you miss out on great moments like this ....
