Redwoods in Northern California by Robert Swetz For anyone that has ever viewed the Redwoods in Northern California you will be able to relate to this photograph of Robert Swetz standing in the root of a Redwood tree that has fallen down.Robert Swetz has been visiting the Redwoods in NorCal since he was a teenager and since then I am still completely amazed at their size.These are by far one of the largest living creatures in the World.This photo was taken by some hikers Robert came across in Humboldt County in 2015. It's been several years since I have visited my Large Living Friends.     The very first time I walked on the trails between the Giant Redwood Trees was back in 1975. I had a friend that use to log the Redwoods and he showed me some old "Native American" trails that were in some very large "Groves" around Orick in NorCal.     Orick California is around 20 miles north of Eureka Cali, and approx 100 miles south of the Oregon border.
