Ok if you read my post about the San Antonio's Catholic Church Fiesta Days in Anaheim Hills well a week later in a far off (well the town next door) town the sister church St. Martin De Porres has an Oktoberfest.  Plenty of food!  I had a brat last night.  There is a beer garden.  I recognised some of the rides from the Anaheim Hills Fiesta.  I have been going since 1983!   It is going on this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Enjoy! 09/22/2007

The landscape has changed since I first moved there in 1983.  At 15 I attended the local high-school; Esperanza High School (http://www.esperanzahs.com/) The school itself is actually located in nearby Anaheim.  The average home price was $150,000.00 for a 2200 sqft. house.  Larger homes were uncommon.  East Lake Village (http://www.elvca.com/) , a state of the art master planned community was fairly new and my friends and I would ride our bikes to the lumber area (where the manmade lake itself sits now) The town was very peaceful.  There was a few things for teenagers to do.  We always wanted a movie theater which would never come to be.
