Villa Park Sales in 2009-up 24% in numbers from 2008 Approximately 1/3 Distress Sales of the Total number of 2009Villa Park Sales   In 2008 there were 48 sales, and in 2009 there were 61 sales.  In 2008, the average price was $1,277,120, 3670 sq. ft., or $347.99 per sq. ft. In 2009, the average price was $1,005,999, 3499 sq. ft.  or $287.50 per sq. ft For Distressed 2009 Sales: In 2009, the average price was $891,660, 3479 sq. ft. or $256.30 per sq. ft For Standard Sales: In 2009 the average price was $1,051,092, 3507 sq. ft. or $299.71 per sq. ft.   In 2009:   there were 53 closed sales with 8 in escrow not yet closed. October 28, 2009-Villa Park Real Estate Update  Now what's happening in the city of Villa Park? Sales in Villa Park are UP.  Lots more sales already in 2009 than in all of 2008! As of October 28, 2009, there have been a total of 56 properties that are under contract or have closed in Villa Park in 2009-already 8 more than all of last year. Of the 56 properties, 42 have already closed.
