Few areas in the greater Los Angeles area can match the Christmas spirit exhibited by this Torrance neighborhood.  It's a tradition for many South Bay residents to visit Candy Cane Lane during the holiday season. Last Sunday I strolled through the neighborhood with a gaggle of my grandchildren and their parents.  With temperatures in the low sixties, even after dark, it was a walk through a winter wonderland--California style!  Homes are decorated to reflect the style and personalities of the occupants. If you enjoy viewing neighborhood Christmas lights and decorations displays, the best in the South Bay is in the "Sleepy Hollow" area of Torrance. The best area is near Sharynne Lane and Doris Way, and some people believe that Reese Road is the best of the best. You can also enter the area off of Pacific Coast Highway on Robert Road near Calle Mayor, Avenue H off of Prospect, or Carlow road off of Calle Mayor .
