Christmas in Conejo Oaks.  Every year the residents of Conejo Oaks go all out to decorate for the holidays.  This year is no exception!  There are more houses decorated than I've ever seen before!  Last weekend, in between rain storms, I went out and took some photos of what I consider to be some of the best the area has to offer.  Since this trip, the amount of decorated houses has almost DOUBLED! Below is one house that has gone all out for the last five years that I've been driving through here.  This santa and his reindeer is just one part of the design. This is most of the yard from across the street. This year, the house three doors down joined in the fun with this display: One of my all time favorites is this house.  A family of electricitians live here and each year they rent a c...

THIS WEEK:  November 16, 2015 the median list price for a single family home in THOUSAND OAKS, CA is $762,000. Inventory is tightening and days-on-market is falling. But demand as measured by the Market Action Index is also trending down. The market is not giving strong up or down signals from these data.  SUPPLY AND DEMAND:The market remains in a relative stasis in terms of sales to inventory. Prices have not been moving higher for several weeks. However, inventory is sufficiently low to keep us in the Seller's Market zone so watch changes in the MAI. If the market heats up persistently, prices are likely to resume an upward climb.  PRICE:The market is hovering around this plateau. Look for a persistent change in the Market Action Index before we see prices deviate from these levels. C...
