The bones, which included a 31/2-foot-long femur bone and other pieces roughly comprising the hind part of a large mammal, were discovered Wednesday buried about 65 feet under the corner of San Joaquin Street and Weber Avenue........... Wondering what to do this weekend?  New Home buyers, sellers and those who are new to our area there is a GREAT festival going on. Just a short drive south on 5 to Stockton is the 21st annual Asparagus Festival. The festival opened today, Friday, April 27th, but you still have plenty of time to get there for the weekend. This year the festival will be near the waterfront where Stockton proudly displays their new arena and by next year the marina will be open for you to boat on over. There is an incredible abundance of asparagus with a variety of flavors and textures for your palate to savor.  I hope this year they still have the farmers who farm the asparagus for those like me who have no idea how asparagus is grown. I was amazed to find that they grow individually in the ground. That i...

An interesting experiment at our office, that the phones will ring off the hook for advertised properties in the paper, but showings are about the same.  On the internet however, showings are better--and people are more qualified and interested in the properties.
