South Pasadena Rose Parade Float “Never Give Up” Is Close To The Finish Line There’s been some rain in South Pasadena. Earlier today, I went to once again check out progress for the city of South Pasadena’s float entry in the 128th annual Tournament of Roses Parade. South Pasadena has the oldest self-built float in the parade(and one of only six self-built floats in the parade out of 40 entries this year). This is an all-volunteer effort by South Pas which is known for its small town appeal despite being approximately six miles from Downtown Los Angeles. This year’s float is entitled “Never Give Up” and is a part of the overall parade theme “Echoes of Success”. As is the custom here, South Pasadena’s entry was chosen as part of a city-wide contest.
