Richard Neutra's "California Modern" personal residence in Silverlake, CA, built in 1932.   Richard Neutra, architect/inventor of the "California Modern" style we now see all over LA today.   One of the first of these homes (Richard eventually designed over 250 California Modern homes in CA) was built in Silverlake, CA in 1932; the signatures of this style features walls of glass and sleek materials.
