At least one day per week I like to do everything just for me, just the way I like it, or not do anything at all. Before Bob died, I used to do much more fun stuff, and I was in much better shape, being outdoors and all that all the time... Anyway, today I was drawn the the Marin Headlands, at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) and was awestruck by the impressiveness of the Golden Gate Bridge. I've lived here all my life and it's been a while since I've been out in the Headlands and it was a refreshing and humbling experience. I just imagine the people that built the bridge, and risked their lives doing so. It is an amazing structure even today.
