Homes sales are slowing down for several reasons. Prime reason is lack of inventory, followed by rising interest rates and then homes being listed at a price above what a will buyer will pay. We are now seeing price reductions often in all areas of the Santa Clarita Valley. Home prices have risen significantly since the start of 2018 and with higher prices and interest rates the average days on market has continued to fall.
