San Jose, California Seller REFUSES to begin to move until Buyer's loan funds.On the surface the question you may be asking is:  and ....so?  I mean Seller says I won't even order the storage POD until I get confirmation from the title company that the buyer's loan has funded.  Mr. & Mrs. Listing Agent:  "We have never had this happen before." Did you inform the sellers that they promised they would surrender possession on August 20, 2008 at 5:00pm?Mr. & Mrs. Listing Agent: Yes. A client called me the other day and asked if I knew of anyone who cleans clothes dryer ducts. Of course I responded. He is the best in the San Jose area - he is the same person who does my chimney inspections. My client lives in a condo in San Jose, California. Recently they opened the door to their utility room and discovered it was really hot inside the room. It would have puzzled them less if their dryer had been running - however that was not the case. In fact, they had not run their dryer for approximately four days.  My client began to look for clues as to why the room was so hot. They felt the top of their dryer and it was hot. I was previewing a San Jose home earlier this week for one of my clients. In my typical fashion I had the MLS printout on top of my clipboard with pen in hand making notes about the property. The seller was home, and as sellers will do, the seller was graciously giving me a tour of her San Jose home. As we were standing at a landing on the stairs chatting about the home, the seller looked down at the MLS printout and asked: "What is the price on that?"  This is the dialogue that followed:Seller: What is the price on that?Me: What do you mean?Seller: What is the price? Almaden Lake Park is my favorite park in San Jose.Almaden Lake is the only City Park in South San Jose that has a sand beach and swim area. I recall earlier this year watching the City of San Jose workers spread mounds of fresh white sand over the beach area to prepare for the opening on the new season. I feel the same way about visiting Almaden Lake Park as I do going to the beach at Half Moon Bay. I prefer to be there with few people and be among the wildlife.  Earlier this year I experienced several families of geese and duck and other fowl with their babies. I visited two to three times a week with several loaves of bread. Dolce Hayes Mansion is my favorite place to go in San Jose for Sunday Champagne Brunch as well as Mother's Day and even an occasional Thanksgiving dinner! The food and service is outstanding. As you can see from the photo - the mansion is beautiful.Dolce Hayes Mansion was once a private estate. In 1994 the Mansion opened to the public. It is now a well known Northern California conference center.It is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. Many local residents, including me, take mini-retreats to Dolce Hayes Mansion which is located in Blossom Valley in San Jose.  A dear friend of mine, also a real estate agent in Boston, spent an entire three-day weekend at Hayes Mansion. So not only do homeowners have to pay for damages done by trees the city planted in front of their properties, but now we will have to pay for all maintenance involved with these trees.
