Blissfully Enjoying Spring in Roseville CA 95747! The flowers are blooming, the trees are sprouting leaves, the weather is gorgeous and downright hot, and the nurseries are packed. Spring has sprung abundantly in Roseville California and we are blissfully enjoying it. I just planted a gorgeous smelling mauve/pink rose in my front yard and tidied up the planter with compost followed by bark. My senior mom has been busy planting tomato plants into containers on the patio table - her version of "raised beds gardening." That makes it so much easier for her to work ont he plants. We have seed packets with sunflower seeds and wildflowers that I'll be helping her plant.   Insurance Claim in the Apartment May Have Opened an Upgraded Market in Roseville     There is an apartment community in Sacramento Region, in the city of Roseville, that had a moisture condition that destroyed the common wall between two kitchens of two units. The water damage included the drywall, cabinets, and counters among many things. These items were then upgraded when putting back together. These were not super fancy, high-end improvements but certainly nicer than the rest of the apartments in that area. As a test, and mostly covered by the insurance claim, the unit used the improvements and marketed at a higher rent. People sometimes ask me how I can cross over into other counties to sell homes in the Sacramento Valley, yet county lines, for the most part, don't mean all that much. I live in Land Park in Sacramento, which is about 6 blocks the way the crow flies to West Sacramento, which is in Yolo County. It's a little more difficult to pull property charateristics in West Sacramento, but the homes are sold the same way. Ditto for homes in Roseville, although occasionally I'll run across a die-hard Placer County pro who doesn't want to let the seller choose the title policy. It's just local customs that differ slightly, yet the home selling process is much the same. Leave Me A Key, I’ll See What I Can Do!   There was a scheduled move-in yesterday that got flooded the night before. The tenants have traveled across several states to get to Sacramento to move in this weekend. They were given the bad news and made arrangement to stay with some relative in the area. But now what? There were other units available but the really wanted this premium location, so the water damage needs to be corrected right away and get them in ASAP. The management company contact their contractor with the same information, and is yet to see the work or contact the staff. Luckily the area was opened up and fans set to dry right away, but who was going to fix this problem?
