Due to a rise in burglaries in Rancho Santa Fe, California in the past six months, it bears repeating " When you leave home, lock your doors and turn on the alarm". People living in Rancho Santa Fe  need to be a little more aware and a little more diligent. Many times the victims are making it very easy for the thieves. Two thirds of the time, they are walking right in. Between January and June 2012, there were 27 burglaries. This is an outstanding amount for the Rancho Santa Fe community, Two of the burglaries were for vehicles and the rest were burglaries of houses, about 37 percent of those burglaries were forced entries. Inventory is up and Market Action Index is trending down recently.
