The Grandview Estates neighborhood, in my opinion, is one of Palos Verdes best kept secrets. Let me tell you why. Located off Montemalaga Drive in Rancho Palos Verdes, this charming neighborhood only has one way in and one way out allowing for minimal traffic and lots of safety. Grandview Estates was one of the first and best built neighborhoods in Palos Verdes in the early 1950's. Grandview Estates was named after the amazing grand-views seen from the homes and neighborhood. The views consist of Santa Bay queen's necklace view to Downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel mountains which are often snow capped.The neighborhood is adjacent to Grandview Park which consists of 17 acres of parkland.
