Free Stagecoach Rides in Placerville   The history of Placerville can be traced back to the Gold Rush Days. This was a time when cowboys, horses and stagecoaches were a part of the dusty trails in the foothills of El Dorado County. While those days are gone, you can still experience a little bit of that time by taking a FREE Stagecoach Ride in Placerville on the third Saturday of the month. Davey Wiser and his crew offer this best kept secret, though he has been doing it on Historic Main Street and other locations in El Dorado County for 20 years.
