Real Estate Trends for Palmdale, Lancaster and the Greater Antelope Valley September 29 2009 Okay we are starting to see an uptick in prices as the moratorium on releasing bank-own homes into the market remains in place.  Yesterday we have a odd range of active inventory.  Within the core area we had 750 total active with 250 bank own (REOs) and 250 short sales (pre foreclosure) leaving 250 as normal sales. The Antelope Valley Fair is going like gang busters.  Last night The Beach Boys put on a concert that was out of this world.  David Love, the lead singer, I couldn't believe it is 68 years old.  The music was great and after a couple of songs David said they needed to take break and have a nap.  The wife and I loved it when they started singing their hits from the 60's.  The screams were wild. cell phones were recording things like mad.
