San Mateo County Coastal Trail - Devil’s Slide A beautiful Pacific Coast Trail!  Devil’s Slide Trail is above the Pacific Ocean. It’s a segment of Highway 1 turned into a multi-use trail, for hikers, bicyclists, horseback riders, and runners. It’s about 1.3 miles long. It became accessible after the Twin Tunnels opened in 2013. The Twin Tunnels Connect Half Moon Bay with Pacifica. These Tunnels bypass the section of road that had been closed numerous time due to landslides over the years since the opening of CA-1 in 1937. Coming from Pacifica, there are two small parking lots and another one end of the Trail.
