How do we keep our buyers focused and positive among limited inventory, firm prices, and rising interest rates? I provide them with the realities of the past several years. Covid brought historically low rates to keep the economy going. People got used to them quickly and still think that 3% will come back. I tell them not to bank on it. Instead, I turn the conversation to inventory and what's likely to occur once rates stabilize and If they come down a bit.  "When" rates stop going up, and everyone gets used to wherever they land, then people who need to downsize or move into something larger will indeed still move. It has been a while since I wrote about this market, so one of my clients called and asked why I have not written about it in a while. So with that said let's look at the Market:Not wanting to sound repetetive, but if you looked at my previous five market trends report tonight, you would notice there is one common trend. While in California during the month of June, I've been providing private Feng Shui consultations and workshops, I also made sure to save time to enjoy the great outdoors to hike. This time around, I swung by the Will Rogers State Historical Park in Pacific Palisades, CA. I prefer not to write too much about what I saw, and instead provide you with just a couple of photos because it really deserves your in-person presence. I will say this, the land was once occupied by the Gabrielino/Tongva Nation until the 1800s due to colonization from Spain. Can walk around to the restaurants and boutiques and are of course near the Pacific Ocean.
