Have you ever been accused of playing favorites?  I know I have.  Tomorrow I have a client who is flying in from Maryland to view a specific home, that was just listed. This is a little note..to remind you to invest in a few lint brushes, be mindful of your pets, especially when you're preparing for showings of your home for sale. How many of you have walked in and smelled a pet? What does that smell do to the value of the home you're viewing? Be honest. Yup! Just think if you walked in and the home was well ventilated and didn't smell or look like a pet lived there. It's almost like a smoker's house. Do you know what I'm saying? While this is always going to be a personal decision, my professional opinion on this one is that overall, I would not recommend buying a one bedroom home in Ontario, CA. The main reason is because the home suffers from what is termed functional obsolescence. Functional obsolescence means that there is a loss in value due to outmoded style of non-usable space.
