California State University in Northridge, California, centrally located in the San Fernando Valley is anxiously anticipating the completion of the new Valley Performing Arts Center which is located in close proximity to the college campus. When completed in Fall 2010, the Valley Performing Arts Center will include a 1700 seat concert hall, a 200 seat flexible experimental theatre, classrooms. laboratories, rehearsal space, and offices, as well as a large lecture hall. It will also house the College's KCSN-88-5 FM radio station. As it has for years, the college continues to provide the community and the surrounding valleys the opportunity to enjoy the more than 250 performances and screening each year.
