As we may know the weather is getting warmer and we are all looking forward to spending more time outside doing various outdoor activities in areas throughout the Corona/Norco areas rather it be hiking, fishing, horseback riding, we need to take this one caution to heart, from April-October we are not the only ones that like to enjoy this warm weather, snakes that are native to this area are going to be out enjoying the warm sun as well. Snakes that are native to this area include Red Diamond Rattlesnake, Gopher Snake, California King Snake and Red Racer. On hot days keep a lookout for snakes around sunset and sunrise. Snakes take to shade in and near vegetation, rocks, old tires and wood piles. Use caution when spring cleaning areas around your home, yard and business. All snakes shoul...

This has been quite a busy week for me. I got one deal completely closed, young newly married couple and first time homebuyers. Have been waiting for months on this short sale and they finally slept in their new house last night and are super excited. They have been sleeping in an RV in the wifes mother house for the past month waiting to close so they are super excited to be in their new house and wake to and not feel like to walls are closing in on them. Also as of today I got a new deal put into escrow. Its an REO property in Corona, and my buyers are the kind of buyers that you can only sit back and just prepare yourself because you know this is going to be quite a trip between here and escrow.. You can only hope you can do everything you can to get them through the buyer's remorse ...

Inventory levels are different in each part in the country, my area in particular,Norco, Corona, Riverside, Eastvale, Mira Loma, The Inland Empire the inventory is low, we have buyers going into bidding wars, and houses that hit the market go into the escrow that same day. But reading an article in the Realtor Magazine that I received via email was very interesting in regards to lack of employment and money is causing more people to live under one roof and causing a need for less housing.. This is what the article said. "The number of people sharing a home is rising, and that could cause the United States to end this decade with as many as 4 million more housing units than it needs. In 2008, 49 million, or 16 percent of the population, live in a home with more than one adult generation, ...

Pending home sales increased again in March, affirming that a surge of home sales is unfolding for the spring home buying season, according to the National Association of Realtors®. The Pending Home Sales Index,* a forward-looking indicator based on contracts signed in March, rose 5.3 percent to 102.9 from 97.7 in February, and is 21.1 percent above March 2009 when it was 85.0; this follows an 8.3 percent increase in February. The data reflects contracts and not closings, which usually occur with a lag time of one or two months. Lawrence Yun, NAR chief economist, said favorable affordability conditions have been working with the tax credit. "Clearly the home buyer tax credit has helped stabilize the market. In the months immediately following the expiration of the tax credit, we expect ...

Borrowers who are facing foreclosure may ask the lender to accept a discounted payoff on their loan. This is called a "short sale" or "short payoff". It allows the borrower to avoid a foreclosure action, and may offer the lender an expedited and less costly resolution of the situation.Historical trends tell us that the number of short sales has increased when changing markets soften home prices and leave homeowners with a higher mortgage interest rate or loan balance. For the consumer, negotiating a short sale with the lender may seem a daunting task, particularly at a stressful time when foreclosure looms. A short sale allows the borrower to maintain a better overall credit record than with a foreclosure. It also allows time for the homeowner to relocate on a more convenient timetable ...

The history of Norco began with a Mexican Grant of land given Vicenta Sepulveda. The area of land passed through many different owners until it was purchased by the North Corona Land Company in 1921, by which Norco received its name - derived from North Corona. Since then Norco has developed much. In the 20's Rex B. Clark purchased the land. He was responsible for much of the buildings in Norco. One of the most prominent developments Clark produced was the Norconian Club and Hotel. The resort was the "in" spot for Hollywood elite as many came to relax by the 65 acre Lake Norconian or take advantage of the famous natural sulfur wells. The hotel began a downward spiral shortly after the stock market crash of 1929. The hotel was bought in 1941 and used off and on for many years as a Nava...

Does a higher SCORE in activerain makes You a better REALTOR of lender? If You were a buyer or seller............  Would You go with the one with the highest score? Is this person better? Or would You go with the one with the lowest score? Maybe the person with the lowest score spends more time marketing your property and getting the job done vs. the person scoreing high in activerain and lacking in other fields like marketing, prospecting, followup etc. Maybe the person with a 6 figures score is the person to list with(?)What do You think?
