One of the ways we see whether a market is shifting is by looking at stats, like those I wrote about yesteray.  Another way is by the amount of traffic we see during an open house.  Last week the traffic was off on this property as compared to the previous two weeks, so we are thinking that maybe the market is taking a rest.  Others in our office remarked about less traffic through their properties as well so it wasn't just us.  This weekend we're holding this house open again and looking forward to talking with prospective buyers.  It's a nice way to meet people who are thinking about buying a new home and who really want this area we're in, the Mills Estates.
